Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary defense-related projects from contract stage through planning, development, production, delivery, and post-sale support.

The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for both internal teams and external customers, ensuring all project milestones are met on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full project ownership from contract initiation through delivery and sustainment
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans in alignment with technical requirements, timelines, and budget constraints
  • Lead and coordinate ongoing project activities, including documentation, design reviews, status meetings, contract reviews, and executive reporting
  • Maintain close communication with clients and initiate opportunities for future collaboration
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and subcontractors

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering –preferred
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience in a similar role within the defense or high-tech manufacturing industry – required
  • Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies – required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with Priority ERP system – a strong advantage

 

Procurement Buyer

Baltimore, Maryland

Description

  • Purchasing and Coordination: Execute RFQs/RFIs and process purchase requisitions for a wide range of materials and services.
  • Price and Cost Analysis: Conduct thorough price and cost analysis to ensure competitive pricing and cost savings.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
  • Supplier Management: Work with suppliers to address and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, and pricing.
  • Order Management: Enter and update purchase orders accurately and promptly.
  • Performance Tracking: Manage supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance and track cost savings.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the quality of purchased materials and manage Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs).

Job requirements

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in procurement or subcontracts.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret drawings of mechanical parts and cables/harnesses.
  • Software Knowledge: Proficiency in M1 or similar ERP software.
  • Understanding of Materials: Ability to cut purchase orders, read Bills of Materials (BOMs), Mechanical drawing and comprehending material requirements.

Production Engineer

Baltimore, Maryland

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Development:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize electrical and mechanical systems, focusing on cables, wire harnesses, robotic systems, and drone components.
    • Create, review, and update engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Production Support:
    • Provide hands-on support to production teams in troubleshooting and optimizing manufacturing processes.
    • Address technical issues and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and product quality.
    • Manage drawing deviations, including reviewing and approving modifications to existing designs in accordance with industry standards.
  • ISO Audit & Compliance:
    • Assist with ISO audits by ensuring all processes, documentation, and products adhere to ISO standards.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare for and respond to audit findings.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing product quality, production efficiency, and cost reductions.
    • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, standards, and technologies in mechanical and electrical engineering.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field- Mandatory
  • 3-5 years of experience in production and manufacturing environments, preferably with experience in cable, wire harness, robotic, or drone production.
  • Proven experience with quality assurance, including QA processes, drawing deviations, and quality engineering documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with production operations and supporting manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with ISO audits and maintaining ISO compliance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and electrical design tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Cable Inspector

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Checks: Perform thorough inspections and quality checks on cable assemblies to ensure they meet specified standards and requirements.
  • Testing: Conduct electrical and mechanical testing on cables and assemblies using standard and specialized equipment.
  • Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings to verify accuracy and compliance with specifications.
  • Computer Programming: Program and utilize computer test programs to automate and enhance testing processes.
  • Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the activities of other inspectors, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Inspection Requirements: Ensure compliance with FAI (First Article Inspection) and Source inspection requirements.

  • Production Floor: Work on the production floor alongside assemblers, maintaining a collaborative and productive environment.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality metrics.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify and address quality issues, providing solutions and recommendations for improvement.

 

Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience in cable inspection and cable assembly, with a strong understanding of quality control processes.
  • Education: Relevant technical certification or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings. Ability to conduct comprehensive electrical and mechanical testing.
  • Technical Knowledge: Experience with programming computer test programs and using inspection equipment.
  • Supervisory Skills: Previous experience supervising or leading a team of inspectors.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and work on the production floor among assemblers.
  • ISO Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO standards and experience preparing and conducting ISO audits.

Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and management.
